… serves up a warm Cumbrian welcome with a homemade menu full of flavour, heart, and local pride.

Overlooking the scenic shores of St Bees, we have our gift shop and  convenience store as well as our café. Our Cafe is open for hearty breakfasts, light lunches, indulgent cakes, sundaes, and small-batch ice cream – all lovingly made with ingredients from nearby producers. From Kells-roasted coffee to Bakes by Gina and Whycham Valley ice cream, every supplier tells a local story.

Whether you're popping in for a brew or staying for a slice of something sweet, you'll find a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere that's dog friendly, wheelchair accessible, and made for everyone to enjoy.

We opened Beach Road Bakehouse & Beach Road Stores following  major renovation works on 12th June 2025 so we are relatively new!  We have purposely started with a small menu, using locally sourced produce and suppliers where  possible  ensuring our meals are  homemade.            

​

From Saturday 4th October 2025 we launched Beach Road Bakery which is our very own production of homemade bread & pastries.
